🚨Theft of a Motor Vehicle - Church Street, Eccleshall 🚨

Police have received a report of a theft of a motor vehicle on Church Street, Eccleshall which occurred at approx. 5:00pm on Wednesday 25th February and 7:40am on Thursday 26th February.

To help prevent further incidents, please consider the following crime prevention advice for keyless vehicles:

Use a faraday bag or box – Store your car keys in a faraday bag or signal-blacking box to prevent criminals from amplifying the key’s signal to access your vehicle.

Keep keys away from doors and windows – Position your keys in a secure location, far from entry points, to minimise the risk of signal interception.

Disable the keyless Entry Signal – If your vehicle allows it, deactivate the keyless entry feature when not in use.

Install Physical Deterrents – Use steering wheel locks or wheel clamps to provide visible security and deter opportunistic thieves.

Upgrade Vehicle Security – Consider fitting a tracker or immobiliser to enhance your vehicles security and aid recovery in the event of a theft.
