MAN ISSUED CRIMINAL BEHAVIOUR ORDER |
||
|
Brendan Wyatt, 31, of no fixed address, has been served with a criminal behaviour order (CBO) which prevents him entering Tamworth town centre for two years. Wyatt appeared at Cannock Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Wednesday 25 February) and pleaded guilty to criminal damage. The order will last until 25 February 2028 and prevents Wyatt from being able to enter the area of Tamworth town centre (as per the defined map) unless it is for a pre-arranged medical, solicitors appointment, a pre-arranged family visit with the appropriate authority being made aware prior to the visit or council buildings. Failing to comply with the terms of the order can result in fines and imprisonment. PC Shannon Fearn, of the Tamworth local policing team, said: “CBOs are one of the ways that we tackle individuals persistently impacting on local communities in Tamworth and wider Staffordshire. “We're determined to use all the tools at our disposal to deal with the issues affecting residents and businesses the most in local communities.” #ProblemSolvingPolicing #VisibleLocalTrusted
