• Roadside DrugWipe – detects cannabis & cocaine. 
• Arrest & Blood Test if you fail or show signs of impairment. 

From 2026, proposed changes may allow saliva tests to be used as direct evidence.

Even trace amounts of drugs like:
Cannabis, Cocaine, MDMA, Heroin metabolite, Ketamine, LSD and others
can lead to immediate prosecution. 

🔻 Penalties Are Severe

• Minimum 1-year driving ban
• Unlimited fine
• Up to 6 months in prison
• Criminal record for 11 years
   

Causing death by drug driving: maximum sentence is life imprisonment.
