PREVENTING PARCEL THEFT

Good afternoon,

We thankfully don't receive many reports of doorstep theft in our area and I'm keen to keep it that way. 

Taking a few simple steps can help protect your parcels and deter opportunistic thieves:

📦 Track your parcel so you or someone you trust can be home when it arrives 

📦 Install a video doorbell that alerts your mobile immediately when a delivery is made

📦 Arrange for deliveries to go to a trusted neighbour or a family member / friend who will be home

📦 Use an off‑site locker service for frequent deliveries or high‑value items; these are usually located in busy, well‑lit places such as supermarkets  

📦 Fit a security light to deter opportunistic thieves
