Hi all,

There has been a recent incident reported on 23/02/2026 in the area of St Thomas Place whereby a male has knocked at a residents door offering a service to clear the guttering for a price of £120.

This male has then left the location once payment has been received without completing any work. 

This is a timely reminder to be aware of any door to door sales where the advice would be to search for a legitimate company to complete work.

If you are aware of any further incidents then please report this via 101 or online on the Staffordshire Police website.
