STOLEN VEHICLE ABANDONED ON A5 SLIP RD

On 13/03/2026 at around 04:50 officers seized a vehicle from the Marlborough Way slip road on to the A5 bypass (Eastbound).

The red Peugeot 208 was seen being driven by officers and was abandoned on the slip road. Checks revealed the vehicle had no insurance and was showing as SORN.

The vehicle was initially seized for no insurance. 

A few hours later the vehicle was reported as stolen having been taken without keys from an address in Rocester. It will now be kept for forensics.
