Tomorrow, Saturday 14th March 2026, it will be the annual Midlands Grand National at Uttoxeter Racecourse. Thousands of visitors will be expected in Uttoxeter as per previous race meetings. It is a huge calendar event for Uttoxeter. We are hoping for a safe and incident free event, and hoping all our visitors will have a fantastic, enjoyable and trouble free experience. In previous years there have been only minor incidents. The Police will be approaching the Midlands Grand National as an opportunity to engage with the visitors , and police the event with a Community Policing approach. Obviously any incidents that may occur will be dealt with appropriately. Here at Staffordshire Police we hope everyone who is attending the Racecourse, and the town centre, before and after the race meeting will have an enjoyable and rememberable time.
