MAN CHARGED WITH DRUGS OFFENCES

A man has been charged after cocaine and cash was seized from a car in Tamworth. 

Ergys Mici, 22, of Coventry, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, acquiring / using / possessing criminal property, using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance and driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence. 

It comes after officers stopped and searched a car on Claremont Road at 10.35am yesterday (Tuesday 7 April). They seized £315 in cash and four snap bags of cocaine. 

Mici has been remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Wednesday 8 April).
