Local officers are continuing to patrol areas of Stafford to help tackle instances of anti-social behaviour in the town. A section 34 dispersal order is currently in place in the area to enable officers to disperse individuals from public locations to help prevent crime and disorder. Chief Inspector, Saqib Butt, said: “We are determined to tackle issues affecting Stafford town centre and officers will continue to patrol locally to reassure the community. “We have also been reviewing CCTV footage and have a number of plain clothed officers patrolling the town.” The order has been in place since Tuesday and is set to run until later today (Thursday 9 April). To report anti-social behaviour in your area, call us on 101, use Live Chat on our website or call 999 in an emergency.
