Barlaston - Information appeal after Residential Burglary

We are appealing for information following reports that two residential premises in Barlaston were targeted in the early hours of this morning ( 19th April )

The first incident occurred on Lakewood Drive, Barlaston Park (ST12 9BH) at around 01:15hrs on 19th April, whereby two males approached a property and tried the front door in a suspected attempt to gain entry.

• One male seen on available CCTV footage is wearing a light‑coloured zip‑up top with a small black emblem on the left chest area, black trainers with light‑coloured laces, and light/grey coloured bottoms.
• The second male is wearing a long‑sleeved top, slightly darker in colour, light‑coloured trainers with black soles, and light/grey coloured bottoms.

The second incident occurred on Flaxman Close, Barlaston (ST12 9BU) between 23:30hrs on 18th April and 02:30hrs on 19th April. Unknown persons gained entry to the property, removed the keys to a white VW Tiguan (62 plate), and subsequently stole the vehicle from the driveway.

At this stage, the two incidents are believed to be possibly linked.

We are asking local residents to please check any CCTV or doorbell footage covering the following areas on the Barlaston Park Estate between 23:30hrs (18th April) and 02:30hrs (19th April):

• Flaxman Close
• Ivyhouse Drive
• Lime Grove
• Bell Lane
• Wedgwood Lane
• Hackwood Close
• Etruscan Walk
• Portland Place
• Jasper Close
• Ramsey Close
• Henley Close
• Lakewood Drive

Additionally, if you witnessed anything suspicious or out of the ordinary in the wider Barlaston area during these times, please do not hesitate to contact us.
