A few days ago, whilst on patrol in Penkridge, PCSO Millichap acted upon information previously received regarding a vehicle believed to be driven by a provisional licence holder without the required supervision.
This proactive action was taken as a result of local knowledge and intelligence-led patrols, highlighting the importance of understanding the area, ongoing issues, and information received from the community.
The vehicle was subsequently stopped by colleagues. Enquiries confirmed the driver was driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and that the vehicle was not insured for the manner in which it was being used.
As a result, the vehicle was seized, and the driver was reported for driving without insurance and for driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
