We are appealing for information after a car window was damaged with a suspected pellet gun in Stoke-on-Trent. We were called at 7pm on Sunday (19 April) to a supermarket car park on High Street, Tunstall. The victim, a taxi driver, reported a possible pellet gun being shot at the rear passenger side window of his white Hyundai Ionic, and four men being in the area at the time. The taxi driver was left shaken but unhurt. The individuals seen in the area at the time are described as all aged under 30, each wearing hooded sweatshirts, walking towards the fields close to a nearby garage. We sent firearms officers to the scene who carried out a search. However, no one matching the description of the individuals was located. Officers are carrying out inquiries locally and are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who may have relevant CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage. Anyone with information should call us on 101 or use Live Chat on our website, quoting incident number 660 of 19 April. To report anonymously, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. | ||
