Unknown persons trying doors - CCTV Request

Staffordshire Police have received a report that during the early hours of Saturday - 18/04/2026 at approx. 03:47am, within Beattie Ave, Cross Heath.

Two males were said to be seen fully covered with gloves and balaclavas; nothing has been taken/no entry gained and no damage at this time however the incident has shaken the resident and there has been an increase of the same type of incident within the Newcastle Borough recently. 

We are asking if anyone has any CCTV within Beattie Ave, please can it be checked and should anything be seen matching the description please contact either 101 via phone or use the online form which can be found on www.staffordshire.police.uk and quote VDU: 348 19/04/2026
