A man has been jailed after officers discovered more than 40 bags of cocaine in a car in Tamworth. Rufat Ademaj, aged 19, of no fixed address, appeared at Stafford Crown Court yesterday (Thursday 21 May) where he was jailed for two years and nine months, having admitted: possession with intent to supply class A drugs, cocaine; being concerned in the supply of class A drugs; cocaine, possession of criminal property; driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving with no insurance. Ademaj was stopped by officers in a grey Citroën in Amington at the end of March this year. A total of 42 bags of cocaine was found in the car along with almost £700 cash and multiple mobile phones. Along with his prison term, Ademaj was ordered to pay a surcharge of £228 and the seized cash and drugs were ordered to be forfeited.
