Hot Weather Safety With temperatures rising, please take extra care to stay safe in the heat. Dehydration can happen quickly, even if you don’t feel thirsty. Make sure you: Hot weather can also lead to heat exhaustion or heatstroke, which can become serious if not recognised early. Look after yourself by: Look out for others, especially older people, young children, and those with health conditions who may be more vulnerable. If someone becomes unwell in the heat, move them to a cool place, give water if appropriate, and seek medical help if needed. Stay hydrated, stay cool, and look out for each other. | ||
