ASB - RUGELEY TOWN CENTRE

Good evening,

Earlier today I attended an incident in Rugeley Town Centre where two youths had climbed onto the roof of a store and were seen running across adjoining rooftops. This behaviour is extremely dangerous and poses a serious risk of injury. It is also understandably very frustrating for the store owner, who has experienced repeated incidents of this nature.

On arrival, I located the two young males, who fortunately had not come to any harm. Both individuals have been issued with a PSPO notice and will now receive a £100 fixed penalty each. While this may appear to be a firm response, both males have previously been warned on multiple occasions and have also been issued with a prior PSPO warning for similar behaviour.
