Keeping your child safe when travelling by car |
||
|
It’s Child Safety Week (1-7 June), and the Staffordshire Safer Roads Partnership (SSRP) has some practical advice to help keep your child safe when they’re travelling by car.
Child car seats and the law:
Children should use a car seat until they’re 12 years old or 135cm tall, whichever comes first. After that, they must wear a seat belt.
A high-back booster seat provides extra protection and support. For younger children and infants, a rear-facing seat is the safest option.
