Appeal following non-stop collision

We are appealing for information following a non-stop multiple-vehicle collision in Burntwood.

We were called at 9.30pm on Saturday (13 June) to Chorley Road following reports of a collision.

Three vehicles, two moving and one parked, were involved.

One of the moving vehicles left the scene following the collision.

Officers attended along with colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service.

Two children were in one of the moving vehicles at the time. One of the children suffered bruising as a result.

Officers closed the road and informed Highways due to fluid on the carriageway.

We left the scene at around 10.45pm.

The vehicle that left the scene was reportedly a grey Peugeot 308 and was seen travelling down Rugeley Road, Burntwood.  

Our inquiries are continuing.
