MAN CHARGED WITH DRUG OFFENCES

A man has been charged following a stop-and-search in Rugeley.

Robert Rrushi, 27, of no fixed address, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (cocaine) and using a motor vehicle without third party insurance.

It comes after officers from our major and organised crime proactive team stopped a man in the town on Thursday (18 June).

Rrushi was due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Friday (19 June).
