We are continuing to crackdown on vehicle-related anti-social behaviour (ASB) and we are urging the public to help us gather intelligence. Officers across Newcastle-under-Lyme are working proactively as part of their routine patrols to seize off-road bikes that are being used illegally or anti-socially. Chief Inspector Cliff Goodwin, of the Newcastle-under-Lyme local policing team, said: “We do not underestimate the impact that ASB caused by off-road bikes has on residents and communities. “We are taking proactive action against the illegal and anti-social use of off-road bikes and need the public to report any information to us and where appropriate, send us any CCTV or doorbell footage of vehicles being used anti-socially or illegally. “By working together, we can keep road users and pedestrians safe across Newcastle-under-Lyme.” Call 101, use Live Chat on our website or email newcastleboroughpolice@staffordshire.police.uk. If you’d prefer to report off-road bikes in your area anonymously, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. | ||
