Now that the warm summer weather is here we are experiencing a high volume of calls regarding groups of children that are deciding to enter the water at Stanley Pool. Please make your children aware that this is dangerous, the weather may be hot but the temperature of the water is extremely cold and can cause people to get into difficulty. The pool itself is not manned and therefore should there be an emergency it will take some time for the emergency services to reach them. We want all members of the community to be safe and enjoy the summer weather whilst it is here. |
