APPEAL FOLLOWING INCIDENT IN CANNOCK

We are appealing for information after a woman was approached by a man with a knife in Cannock.

At 2.30pm today (Monday 29 June) we received a report that a woman had been walking on Shoal Hill Common, off New Penkridge Road, this morning when a man approached her with a knife. The man then attempted to grab the woman.

The woman was not injured.

The man was described as Asian, around 6ft tall and of a slim build. He was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, a black jumper and white trainers.
