Theft of three GPS receivers & screens from a farm in Upper Tean, Staffordshire Moorlands

Sadly between the hours of 8pm on Thursday 18th June and 08:30 a.m. Friday 19th June three GPS receivers and two screens have been stolen from tractors off a farm in the area of Upper Tean, Staffordshire Moorlands. If anyone has any information in relation to the theft please make contact with Staffordshire Police either via telephone 101 or online (quoting 21260099093).

This isn't just a theft of pieces of equipment, it has real life impacts on the farm, affecting the ability to carry out essential work efficiently and increasing costs at a time when farming is already challenging.

We'd like to ask everyone in the community to be extra vigilant. If you see anyone acting suspiciously around farmers or agricultural machinery, or if you are offered farm GPS equipment for sale in unusual circumstances please report it to the Police.
