Trentham and Hanford - motorbike stolen Brough Ln, ASB/damage Hanford Park, Parking patrols and community updates

Good afternoon everyone,

Firstly, my apologies if I missed anyone at the Police Street Surgeries for Florence Road and Arctic Place.

Over the last few days I have been assisting colleagues with scene preservation at a very serious incident in Normacot and a building fire in Hanley. I was able to complete the surgeries at Parkwood Ave, Turnberry Dr, Meadow Ln and Edward Ave.

There is a possibility that I may not be able to complete the surgery at Coniston Pl (Tomorrow 18:45 – 19:00), but I will do my best to be there.

TONIGHT (14/07/26) there will be a Police Street Surgery at Newington Gr 18:45 - 19:00

I have listed towards the bottom of this e-mail the Police Street Surgeries for next week and the re-arranged dates and times for surgeries at Florence Rd and Arctic Pl.

Smart Alert Appeals- stolen motorbike Brough Ln

At approximately 23:55 on 13/07/2026 a motorbike (pictured below) was stolen from the driveway of a property on Brough Ln.

The bike was taken by 4 persons who loaded it into a silver van.

The incident occurred between the two blue arrows on this map.

If anyone has any CCTV, Ring doorbell, Dash Cam, or any other information that may assist our enquiries, please call 101 quoting serial 240 of 14/07/2026 – thank you.

Updates

Following my previous e-mail regarding numerous incidents across the area, which included damage and theft from motor vehicles. Thank you to everyone who has helped with our enquiries. We are continuing the investigations, viewing CCTV and exploring forensic opportunities.

As soon as I have any further updates I will let you know.

Anti-social behaviour and damage to equipment – Hanford Park.

We have received reports of persons frequently attending Hanford Park in the early hours of the morning and creating noise. Yesterday I attended the Councils CCTV office, obtained CCTV from the park and I will now do my best to ID those involved.

If anyone has any information that may help my enquiries, please reply to this message and I will be in touch.

I have asked for patrols to attend Hanford Park in the early hours.

I have also received a report of damage being caused in the park, which I have today reported to the Council.

Brough Ln

Whilst addressing parking concerns in Edward Ave, residents have raised concerns regarding parking on Brough Ln. I will as frequently as I can attend Brough Ln and address any parking concerns that I come across. The first of these targeted patrols was completed yesterday (13/07/26). I came across no issues regarding parking during this patrol, however I am aware that the problems can occur at different times of the day/week.

If anyone has any concerns re parking, whether at this or any other location, please call 101 (non-emergency) 999 (emergency). By logging incidents, this ensures that incidents are logged, recorded and responded to promptly.
