Drink driver arrested

On Saturday 18th July a local male was arrested in Uttoxeter town centre for driving whilst over the legal alcohol limit. 

Officers stopped the vehicle near to the Steeplechase pub,  The male failed a Breathalyzer test and was taken to custody.  He is due to appear in court in August, where he faces a driving ban.

Drink driving puts our whole community at risk. If you suspect anyone of driving under the influence, please report it to us on either 101 or 999 if it is an emergency.
