Burglary of Business Premise

We are reminding all town centre businesses to remain vigilant following recent reports of business burglaries.

Please take a few moments at the end of each trading day to ensure premises are secure by:

Locking all doors and windows.

Setting intruder alarms and CCTV systems.

Removing cash from tills and securing valuables out of sight.

Ensuring rear entrances, fire exits and storage areas are properly secured.

Reporting any suspicious behaviour, vehicles or individuals in the area.

Good lighting, visible CCTV and routine security checks can significantly reduce the risk of becoming a victim of crime.

If you witness suspicious activity, report it to Staffordshire Police on 101, or always call 999 in an emergency. Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
