Burglary – theft of motor vehicle Redcar Rd

We are currently investigating a burglary on Redcar Rd, where offender(s) have entered a property and stole a white BMW from the driveway. 

The offender(s) entered the property via an insecure window. 

The vehicle was driven from Redcar Rd, onto Goodwood Pl and then onto Wetherby Rd. 

The incident took place on Wednesday 29th July 2026 at approximately 01:30hrs. 

The vehicle has since been recovered and will be processed by our forensic officers.

Attempted Burglaries – Chatsworth Park Ave  

We have received reports that on 28/07/2026 at approximately 01:50am a group of individuals have been seen on Chatsworth Park Ave, trying to gain access to properties.  

No access is believed to of been gained to any properties and nothing is believed to have been stolen or damaged at this time.

Today I attended Chatsworth Park Avenue, assisting with scene enquiries and completing crime prevention visits. 

Suspicious incident - Collinbourne Cl 

We have received a report that on 25/07/2026 at approximately 03:43am, a male was seen in the front garden of a property on Collinbourne Cl. The male was not seen to try and access any properties or vehicles and nothing has been reported as damaged or stolen at this time. Police and Councillor Joint surgery.  

On 05/08/2026, 19:00 - 19:15 there will be a Street surgery at Stuart Avenue, where I will be present with Councillor Maxine Clark. If there are any issues that you would like to raise to the Police or Council, we look forward to seeing you there.

Today a Police Street surgery was held at Bengal Grove. 

TOMORROW (31/07/2026) there will be a Police Street surgery at Redcar Rd 13:00 - 13:15 

01/08/26 there will be a Police Street Surgery at Churchill Way 13:00 - 13:15 

02/08/26 there will be a Police Street Surgery at Robinson Rd 18:45 - 19:00

03/08/26 there will be a Police Street Surgery at Carrick Pl 18:45 - 19:00 

04/08/26 there will be a Police Street Surgery at Jonathan Rd (near to the junction of Caldew Gr) 18:45 - 19:00
