WILDFIRE ON BRACKEN CLOSE, HEDNESFORD

This afternoon, whilst on patrol, PCSO Keaton Martin located a wildfire on Bracken Close, Hednesford.

Fortunately, due to a nearby community event involving both Police and Fire crews, resources were already in the area and able to respond quickly. Working together, the fire was extinguished before it had the chance to spread to nearby properties and cause more significant damage.

We would like to remind everyone to remain vigilant, particularly during the current warm and dry conditions. If you see a fire, however small it may appear, always call 999 immediately.
