VEHICLE SEIZED IN CANNOCK

This vehicle was stopped yesterday morning by the Road Crime Team after running a red light.

The officers then discovered that the driver, who only held a provisional driving licence, believed they could be supervised by another provisional licence holder. Unfortunately, that is not the case, as learner drivers must be accompanied by a qualified driver who meets the legal requirements.

As a result, the vehicle was seized.
