STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED

This cloned vehicle was sighted in Cannock yesterday and stopped by Road Crime Team officers using tactical options to bring the vehicle to a safe stop and prevent the need for a pursuit.

Further checks revealed the vehicle was in fact a stolen motor vehicle. The driver had purchased it believing the sale to be genuine, but unfortunately was found to be driving without insurance.

The vehicle was recovered and enquiries are ongoing.
