✅ Check on vulnerable neighbours, friends and family Older people, those living alone, young children and people with health conditions can be more affected by the heat. A quick phone call, text or doorstep check could make a real difference. ❤️🤝

✅ Keep hydrated Drink plenty of water throughout the day and avoid leaving anyone without access to fluids, especially children and elderly relatives. 💧🥤

✅ Secure your home While it's tempting to leave windows and doors wide open to keep cool, please make sure your home remains secure. 🚪🔒

• Lock doors when leaving the property. • Keep valuables out of sight. • Ensure accessible windows are secure, especially overnight or when you're not at home. • Don't give opportunist thieves an easy opportunity. 🏠

✅ Protect your vehicle Never leave children, vulnerable adults or pets in a parked vehicle, even for a short time. Temperatures inside can rise dangerously fast. 🚗🌞🐶

Also remember: • Remove valuables from sight. • Lock your vehicle, even if you're only popping away briefly. • Close windows when unattended. 🔐
