Seizure of Off Road Bikes

Police received reports of two off-road bikes that were being stored at a property on Ralph Drive. Officers attended the location on the 10th August at approximately 5:00pm and located the bikes.

As a result of enquiries at the scene, one male was arrested for various criminal offences. The off-road bikes were subsequently seized.

Off-road bikes ridden in public places can cause significant danger, nuisance and anti-social behaviour within our communities. We would encourage residents to continue reporting incidents to assist police and partners in identifying offenders and taking positive action.

How to Report Off-Road Bikes

Operation Transom (Council Reporting) Residents can report the use of off-road bikes, quad bikes and other nuisance vehicles through their local council as part of Operation Transom. Information such as locations, times, descriptions of riders and vehicles can help target enforcement activity.

Report to Police

101 – Report non-emergency incidents involving off-road bikes.

999 – If the bike is being ridden dangerously and there is an immediate risk to public safety.

Online – Reports can also be submitted through the police force website.

When reporting, please provide:

Exact location.

Time and date of the incident.

Description of the bike(s).

Description of rider(s).

Any registration details if visible.

Photos or video footage if it is safe and lawful to obtain.
