Before heading off on your travels, take a few simple steps to help keep your home secure and reduce the risk of burglary.

Top Tips: 

🔒 Make sure all doors and windows are locked, including garages and sheds. 

💡 Use timer switches on lights to make your home appear occupied. 

📬 Ask a trusted neighbour, friend, or family member to collect post and keep an eye on your property. 

🚗 If possible, have someone occasionally park on your driveway. 

📱 Avoid posting holiday plans or live updates on social media until you return home. 

🎥 Ensure any CCTV, doorbell cameras, or alarm systems are working correctly before you leave.
