Bike Theft

Please be aware of pedal bike thefts! Hotspots for this have been predominantly outside gym's, train station or shops mostly in and around Stafford town centre. Yesterday there were also reports in the Western downs area of Highfields and Castle town. Thieves have entered rear gardens during the day in these instances.

Or you may consider the use of a small bike tracker device. Always make a note of your bikes unique frame number which assists police when bikes are recovered & can prove the bike is stolen for seizure.  

If you note suspicious activity you can report this via 101 or digital 101 from the Staffs police website, or if a crime is in progress 999.
