Action Taken Against Nuisance Vehicles in Tamworth Tamworth Police remains committed to tackling anti-social behaviour and addressing concerns raised by our communities regarding nuisance vehicles. Over recent weeks, officers have taken positive enforcement action against drivers whose behaviour has caused alarm, distress, and disruption to local residents. As a result: Community Protection Warnings and Notices are powers available under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 and are used to address persistent behaviour that has a detrimental impact on the quality of life of those in the local community.
Nuisance vehicle behaviour can include activities such as excessive vehicle noise, revving engines, racing, dangerous driving, car cruising, performing vehicle stunts, and other conduct that causes alarm, distress, or annoyance to residents.
We would like to thank members of the public who continue to report incidents and provide information to us. Your reports help us identify offenders and take appropriate action to keep Tamworth a safe place to live, work, and visit.
