Staffordshire Police are aware of a report of an electric motorcycle being ridden in an anti-social manner along Chestall Road, Cannock Wood, at approximately 4:40pm today (26 August).
Officers are continuing to receive reports of off-road bikes and electric motorcycles being used illegally and anti-socially across the local area. These vehicles can cause significant concern to residents, pose a danger to other road users and pedestrians, and can cause damage to public spaces.
We want to reassure the community that we are actively working to tackle this issue. Local officers are carrying out targeted patrols, gathering intelligence, reviewing available CCTV, and working with partner agencies to identify those responsible. Where riders are identified, we will look to take positive action, including vehicle seizures where appropriate.
If you witness anti-social use of off-road bikes or electric motorcycles, please report it to us. Information such as descriptions of the rider, vehicle details, locations, times, photos or video footage can be extremely valuable in helping us take action.
