DRINK DRIVER ARRESTED

On 27/08/2026 at around 18:55 we received a report of a road traffic collision wherein one of the drivers was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol.

Officers attended the location at Mill Lane and a roadside breath test was conducted on the driver of a blue Ford Fiesta.

The driver blew nearly five times the legal limit for alcohol.

The 31-year-old female, from Tamworth, was arrested for drink driving. 

She remains in custody at this time.
