🚜⚠️ Community Safety Message - Theft of Red Diesel, Whitmore ⚠️🚜

We're appealing for information following a theft of red diesel from a farm in Whitmore.

🕘 The burglary occurred between 21:00hrs on Friday 28th August 2026 and 08:45hrs on Saturday 29th August 2026.

Offenders entered the farm premises and stole a quantity of red diesel. Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area during these times and noticed any suspicious vehicles, persons, or unusual activity.

✅ Regularly check fuel levels and inspect tanks for signs of tampering.
✅ Use fuel tank alarms, tracking devices or anti-siphon devices where possible.
✅ Report suspicious vehicles or individuals seen near farms, industrial sites or fuel storage facilities.
✅ Ensure any valuable machinery and equipment is also secured when not in use.
