Parking Considerately Matters

We regularly receive reports about vehicles causing parking issues within our communities.

It is important to understand that Staffordshire Police can only arrange for a vehicle to be removed when it is obstructing access to a property by blocking an entrance to a driveway or where other specific legal powers apply. Vehicles parked opposite a driveway, across a dropped kerb without blocking access, or causing inconvenience alone may not meet the threshold for police removal.

Before leaving your vehicle, ask yourself:

✅ Am I blocking someone's driveway or access point?

 ✅ Could an emergency vehicle get through?

 ✅ Am I parking safely and legally?

 ✅ Am I showing consideration for local residents and other road users?
