🎃 Halloween Safety Advice | Staffordshire Police Style Post 🎃
As Halloween approaches, we want everyone to enjoy the celebrations safely and responsibly. Stay Safe While Trick-or-Treating 👻 Children should be accompanied by a responsible adult where possible and stay in groups. 🔦 Wear bright or reflective clothing and carry a torch to help you stay visible to road users after dark. 🚸 Take extra care when crossing roads and stay on pavements where available. 🏠 Respect residents who do not wish to take part. If there are no Halloween decorations or lights, please move on politely. Respect Your Community 🎃 Enjoy the fun, but remember that criminal damage, anti-social behaviour, intimidating people, or throwing objects at property are offences and may result in police action. 🐾 Be mindful of pets and younger children who may be frightened by unexpected visitors or loud noises. In an Emergency 📞 Call 999 in an emergency where there is an immediate threat to life, crime in progress, or serious injury. 📞 For non-emergencies, contact police via 101 or report online. Have a fun, safe and respectful Halloween from your local policing team. |
