A man has been charged after officers searched a car in Rugeley.

Muja Ervin, 21, from Edgbaston, Birmingham, has been charged with being concerned in supply of cocaine, being concerned in supply of a controlled drug of Class B - cannabis, acquiring / using / possessing criminal property, drive a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, drive a motor vehicle dangerously and use a motor vehicle on a road/public place without third party insurance.

It comes after officers from our major and organised crime proactive team searched a car that had failed to stop for them on Thursday (15 October).

Muja appeared at the Staffordshire Justice Centre on Saturday (17 October) where he was remanded in custody until a date to be fixed at Stafford Crown Court.
