As Bonfire Night approaches, we're reminding everyone of the dangers of fireworks being used irresponsibly.
Throwing fireworks at peoples homes or vehicles is not harmless fun, it can cause serious, potentially life changing injuries and may result in police action or criminal charges.
Parents and carers. Please talk to your children about the dangers and consequences of using fireworks irresponsibly. Do you know what they re doing when they are out with friends.
Have you witnessed an incident? if you see fireworks being deliberately thrown at people or used dangerously, please report it. Photos or video footage may help police with their enquiries. Please do not put yourself at risk or confront those involved.
If someone is in immediate danger, call 999
Lets work together to keep our community safe and ensure fireworks are enjoyed responsibly. | ||
