Off-Road Bikes in Burntwood Park

We have received reports of off-road bikes being ridden in Burntwood Park, causing concern for park users and local residents.

Off-road bikes can pose a significant risk to pedestrians, cyclists, and other park users, as well as causing damage to public spaces. Riding mechanically propelled vehicles in areas where they are prohibited may also constitute an offence.

We are appealing for information from the community. If you witnessed the rider(s), know who may be responsible, or have any CCTV, doorbell, dashcam, or mobile phone footage, please get in touch. Any information, no matter how small it may seem, could assist with enquiries.

When reporting, please provide:

A description of the rider and clothing worn

Details of the bike (colour, make, model, distinctive features)

Direction of travel

Date and time of the incident

Any photographs or video footage available

If you have information, please contact Staffordshire Police via 101 or report online quoting any relevant incident details. In an emergency, or if the bike is being ridden dangerously and poses an immediate risk, call 999.
