Good afternoon,

A man has been charged with drug offences after officers stopped and searched a vehicle in Rugeley yesterday. 

Andi Deda, 38, from Pensnett, Dudley, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (cocaine), using a motor vehicle on a road/public place without third party insurance and drive a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

It comes after officers from our major and organised crime proactive team stopped a car at around 3pm yesterday (Tuesday 27 October).

Deda is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Wednesday 28 October).
