🔥 Firework Safety Alert for Residents 🔥

As we move into the fireworks season, we'd like to remind residents to celebrate safely and responsibly.

✅ Only buy fireworks from reputable retailers and ensure they carry the correct safety markings.
✅ Always follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully.
✅ Keep a safe distance from lit fireworks and never return to a firework once it has been lit.
✅ Ensure children are supervised at all times around fireworks and sparklers.
✅ Keep pets indoors where possible and provide them with a safe, quiet space.
✅ Have a bucket of water or a hose nearby in case of emergencies.
✅ Dispose of used fireworks safely by soaking them in water before placing them in a bin.

Please be considerate of your neighbours, particularly young children, elderly residents, and those with pets who may be affected by loud noises.

If you witness any anti-social behaviour, dangerous use of fireworks, or deliberate damage being caused, please report it via 101 or online at www.staffordshire.police.uk. In an emergency, always call 999.

Let's work together to keep our communities safe and enjoyable for everyone this fireworks season.
