Through our range of services in school, home and the community we help families see a better future, believe it is attainable, and choose to make it happen. Do you have an issue with attendance? WE CAN HELP!

Schools:

Family Support

Malachi are a therapeutic family support organisation working in Birmingham, Cannock, Dudley, Solihull, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire and Worcestershire schools. Through therapeutic-based approaches, we support families to develop hope, recognise achievable change, and actively engage in creating a more positive future.

Community Family Support Service

Malachi is proud to be working alongside Staffordshire County Council to deliver the Community Family Support service in Cannock, Lichfield, Tamworth, and East Staffordshire. We take a whole-family approach where appropriate, delivering support in family homes, community settings, schools, or family hubs. Our place-based model ensures families receive the right support at the right time and in the right place, helping to respond flexibly to local needs and strengthen outcomes for children and their families.

The I’m Here campaign focuses on promoting better attendance among secondary school pupils across Staffordshire, addressing a wider UK trend of declining attendance rates, with Staffordshire schools currently down by 2.3% compared to previous years. While many schools already run attendance initiatives, a unified county-wide campaign offers greater impact by supporting both students and staff. Low attendance is often linked to mild illness or anxiety, and evidence shows that a trusted relationship with a teacher or staff member is a key factor in encouraging pupils to attend. The campaign therefore calls on school staff to actively open conversations with pupils and remain alert to early signs of anxiety.
