A man has been charged with drug offences following a stop-and-search in Tamworth.
Police stopped a man at 1.30pm on Monday (17 January) on Glascote Road.
A quantity of class A drugs was discovered along with a quantity of cash and two mobile phones.
An 18-year-old man was arrested a short time later on suspicions of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
Norbert Bryzykcy, of Carlcroft, Tamworth, has since been charged with the offence and has been remanded in police custody.
He is due to appear before magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre later today (Tuesday 18 January).
