Damage to vehicle in Arps Road

At around 1210 -1215am today, Wednesday 9th February, a vehicle in Arps Road was damaged. The two offenders were on a moped style bike and one of them approached a vehicle and screwed a screw into the driver's door lock. They were then disturbed by a neighbour shouting at them and made off in the direction of Station Close - they possibly came onto Arps Road from Ward Road.

If anyone has any information in relation to this incident, or any cameras that may have caught this bike, please contact police on 101 and quote incident no.12, 9/2/2022.

Please consider steering wheel locks for your vehicles, security motion sensor lights and CCTV or video doorbells, to help protect your property.
