Lichfield Burglary

Burglary Alert: There have been reports of properties being burgled in the immediate Lichfield area.

On 31/01/2022, at approximately 19:00hrs in the area of Anson Avenue and Dimbles Lane, it was reported that suspects have attempted to burgle a garden shed.

Unidentified suspects have gained entry to the rear garden by climbing over a fence. They have then been able to identify several high value mountain bikes through a shed window and have gained access by breaking the lock to the shed. The suspects have then been disturbed by the resident of the property and made their escape, empty handed.

If anyone knows or has witnessed anything in regards to this incident, please contact Police via 101 or online, quoting log 20220201-0151.

Please ensure that all doors and windows are locked and secure when at home or not and that no items of value are on display for any prying eyes, including outdoor buildings such as garden sheds.
