County Lines

At Staffordshire Police, this week we are highlighting County Lines. County Lines are drug distribution networks, spread across the county using young and vulnerable people to move and store drugs. Ofter those involved are coerced into helping through threats, intimidation and violence. Often those targeted are between 14.....20yrs approx. in age. If you are worried that a friend may be involved with county lines, you are NOT a snitch if you say something, you are helping them leave a dangerous situation and get the support they need to break free. The signs that someone may be involved with County Lines are :
Always on the phone
Skipping School
Splashing the cash
Carrying weapons
Unexplained injuries.

Are you concerned ? If you are worried that someone is in immediate risk of harm contact 999.

County Lines does occur in towns, villages and areas you would not expect. Working alongside Staffordshire Police and help and decrease this scourge on our young people. Uttoxeter Officer will be in Uttoxeter Town Centre, at various locations within the centre, from 10.00am engaging and sharing information on County Lines. Please come and talk to us and we will act on any information if you think someone is at risk. Its also important for offenders to be identified too, so any information can be given in the strictest of confidence. Thank you.
